Japanese scalp wash, also known as "head spa" or "head massage", is a popular wellness treatment that focuses on washing/massaging and stimulating the scalp to promote relaxation and improve overall well-being. It combines techniques from traditional Japanese medicine with modern therapeutic approaches.

In a Japanese scalp wash,  a trained specialist uses a combination of gentle to firm pressure to stimulate the scalp and the muscle in the head and neck area. The wash typically lasts 30 mins to an hour, depending on the length of service. Some benefits include: relaxation, improved circulation, scalp health, hair growth, and relief from headaches.
